Re: HID lights at night

Its 8k. Light output goes down the higher up you go. IMO you need to go down to either 5k or 6k, and at the most 6500k.

Re: HID lights at night

Well they could look different cause when you go for the better quality the glass will be better and in general the light output and quality, im sure if you picked up some bulbs from tony youd see a difference ive never heard anything bad about his product

Re: HID lights at night

Take the same pic with the regular bulbs in it.....then compare them with the hids. Assuming that u havent adjusted anything yet.

Re: HID lights at night

doesn't seem like they are aimed right ? did you go up against a wall and aim them to the level of your hood and do a side ways allignment too ? just asking ...

if not try using sand paper on the ground connections sometimes if there is not good conductivity the light output will go out because it acts as a resistor and therefore reducing the voltage

Re: HID lights at night

I think its just the color of the light. 8k is very blue/purple. I had 8k Xenondepot xtremes and they werent that purply. I think combined with your fogs....they would be fine. Try some different alignments as well.

Re: HID lights at night

its because you got 8k, thats not very good light output. 6k is the highest i would go.
