I think he determined it was a bulb issue. I'm pretty sure he's got relays.

How come I don't have any whining noise? I worried now, lol.

Re: HID Lows

well some kits whine and others for a few seconds n go away. as for bulbs bein fualty, yea thats always a case. ive come across alot of those and even some ballasts that are brand new. ive dealt with these problems many times and its always an easy fix.

White Chocolate is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: HID Lows

Ok I'm surprised Scott hasnt said anything yet, but I think you did a cool install, very clean, but you need to run your grounds to the stock grounds, or you will have problems now, or in the future....

Just a tip

The stock ground... is on the fender wall. His ground... is on the fender wall.

There is absolutely no reason to think that anywhere on the fender wall is a bad ground location (if sanded correctly).

My relays are grounded to a non-battery ground on the fender wall... never had a single issue since the day I installed them. My amplifier is grounded in the rear of the vehicle. Never had a single issue.

Just curious, who told you that the stock ground locations are the only non-problem causing ground locations?

Re: HID Lows

Same with my amp in the rear of the car...I think the spot i picked is perfect. I am going to sand them down a little bit more (haha you got me worried now Matt) and Steve will send me a new bulb. since they fired right up when the right bulb was in, I have at least cut out the majority of the install...

I put my ballasts under the black plastic piece - its fits perfectly and i didnt have to use any zip ties or 2x tape. going to do the fogs in the next couple days

Re: HID Lows

Sounds good Brad. The fogs a lot easier than the lows, so it should be a breeze.
