I'll say this, when I work on my jeep my little helper Slinky ( Dachsound w/sharp nails ) gets in the Jeep and hangs her head out the window. She has short legs so she pretty much stands on the panels. Well, yesterday she did this and my panels were barely 1 day old from paint. I freaked out and thought for sure they'd get messed up. Not ONE scratch. I was amazed. Other panels I've painted you could scratch with your nail.

Actually I am planning on painting the whole dash. If you look closely, its actually three pieces. I popped out the end panel to see whats involved. Looks to me like it can be taken completely apart in about 1-2 hours. The two tone theme will carry on to the dash so it all flows. I am starting to take pics of the door panels since a few here are interested and will be doing the same once i start the dash parts.

Just as I get the ball rolling on doing the interior, it rains. I hate when that happens...........

Re: Interior color change

Hey man once you start doing the dash, please take some pics of how the thing comes apart.. like what bolts, pushpins etc. are where and stuff. That would be awesome!
