Sure thing. I'm already planning a " how to " thread.

Re: Interior color change

nice, how to take your interior apart! lol

The door panels are pretty simple, but the dash is what was getting to me. That and all the other rear panels everywhere. I guess they are just held in my clips like the doors?

I guess it's time to invest in a panel popping tool!

Re: Interior color change

Taking the dash apart might be challenging but here is a doc with the procedure for a 2008+, hopefully there will be some similarities
http://wkjeeps.com/recalls/recall_J33.pdf

It seems that there are two parts or three if you count the center console section. Not sure exactly about the similarities in terms of mounting procedures but here's a repost of an 05-07 dash ...

Here is also a pic of an 06 WH with a color scheme similar as to what you are think about ...

Taking the rear quarter section off is not that difficult and the procedure as well as for the center console can be found on wkjeeps.com at
http://wkjeeps.com/interior_trim.htm#QUARTER

Anybody have a guide on how to remove the headliner ?

Re: Interior color change

Update :
We had two days of rain here followed by two more days of cold. Also had a friend pass away of a heart attack so needless to say I got nothing done all week. Finally today I took the jeep to get the headliner and visors done. I dropped off the parts and will put it back in tomorrow if all goes well. Also, I ran a wire to the rear speaker through the plug so it looks factory. This will go hooked up to a 4 channel amp I have in the rear. I got one side done. Tomorrow i'll do the other side. That will be all I can do this week since we leave for disney on thursday midday. Going for the girlfriends birthday, 12/25 . Yes, she's a christmas baby....

Hello Bro!

I am STILL afraid to paint that interior of mine ! dont want that thing to chip !

i have the grey interior, I want the interior to be ALL flat black, with My jeeps' color matched headliner and pillars... I have to paint the place under the door panels, where the plastic meets the carpet! I know it will chip if some girl with high heels is getting in or out the jeep!!

I have painted so many dashes, they were a success, but i have never changed a complete interior.. I am afraid that it will chip in some abused places ...
