Thank you. I guess ill sit in my dads car in front of it at a few angles to see if it needs adjusting once the front end is done. For now its like you're staring at the ground in front of you with a 3" difference between front and rear height haha.
Thank you
I only drove it like a quarter of a mile from my house to my dads house in the middle of the night rushing to get the front forks off for this kid (they didn't come off, frozen like no other) so I didn't really get to test the accel yet. Hopefully it won't be too big of a loss. Def dreaming about dropping in a much bigger engine somewhere down the road but I obviously don't have the funds now that I'm an unemployed college student haha
that rear end is awesomely high. Also to all those HID temp comments, 10k is not brighter than 4300k, it is merely more blue (and actually quite less bright). The temperatures are JUST different colors, not increased light input. 4300 is brightest and whitest, anything higher is bluer/purpler. 3000k is actually the brightest since its yellow.
I'm at school a couple hours from home else I'd measure that for you.
In the rear you add brackets to raise the upper arm links, drop the lower arm links, swap out stabilizer bar links, add bump stop extensions, swap out coil springs, add a bracket to lift the tracking bar on the passenger side, and put in brake line extension brackets. I haven't looked into the front install much yet. Decided to do the back first since I'm more comfortable with the parts back there than all the crap up on the front. Might be a tie rod extension in there.
This all took me about 20 hours over 4 days (including all the trips to get tools and such) with a friend of mine helping 3 hours a day when he got off work.
EDIT^ Keep in mind, I'm no professional. Never taken any mechanics classes. Just done my lift, leveled an f150, and now done half my superlift.
Ya, I was thinking that I'd like to get a manual tranny anyways so that would be fine.
Is the 6.1 a bad idea for offroad use? I don't know much about it besides the fact that it's powerful as hell but I assumed there might be a reason to go for the 5.7 instead of the street engine.
Gonna look up that SCT stuff soon as I get back from lunch and lifting. Thanks!
Haha I drove like a quarter mile from the house I was renting to my dads house to drop off the Jeep there before runnin off to college so that was the only time I've had to recently but I'm gonna have to throw two of them on again to get it to a shop when I can get everything lined up.
