Jeep Custom Decals.............

I may be late to the information, but I just learned about this!!!

Jeep Custom Hood Decals from Mopar.

I'm seriously considering a decal of the White Rim Trail (Canyonlands National Park, Utah) after mountain biking & off roading that 105 mile loop in April 2013.

Please share your thoughts about the custom decals, and your experiences with it if you've trired it. Any idea on dealer install cost? Can it be a DIY install?

Let's get this discussion going!!

Re: Jeep Custom Decals.............

I looked at the blank decal as well as the custom ones for my new order. I just don't like how the decals look against the clear coat paint. Both my Fiance and I ruled it out for our 2015 Eco Green Trailhawk. Makes it look more like a toy with stickers on it than an off roading machine.

I ordered my Trailhawk without the blank decal for exactly that reason. The custom decals seems more compelling and personalized, and look interesting in the gallery bird's eye pictures. The ? is what do they look like from a typical slightly elevated side view?

Just for schizzles, I entered my home zip, and it yielded a map of my neighborhood, lake and all.

Then, I entered the zip of the Flatirons Mall, and sure enough...

So this feature isn't just for off roaders--you can get a map of your favorite mall for the 4x2 models!!!

Too bad they aren't available in colors other than black and white. e.g. either Google terrain/map/satellite, or matching tones for the lighter models.

I put in my Zip and got the City of Chicago and the Lakefront. It's too bad you can't rotate the map ether. It's interesting, but I don't think the flat gloss look of it will mesh well with the clear coat.

Your local sign/wrap dealer can replicate in any color and finish.
In may even be cheaper.

Mopar should only allow the terrain/topo option on Trail Rated Jeeps - all others should be limited to the streets option. Any Trail Rated Jeep owner who orders the streets option should be reported as am imposter and debadged.
