LED revese bulb question

Hey guys,
I just talked to lips and will be ordering a harness from him so I can run the 05-06 LED taillights. My two questions are:

1. Will I still need a resistor to avoid hyperflashing if I have the 05-06 harness from lips?

2. Will I still run the 921 revese LED since I have an 07 or can I run a 3157 reverse LED now?

I appreciate any help, thanks.

Re: LED revese bulb question

After talkingto Jason (lips), I found out that I don't need resistors for the taillights. I also searched some more and it seems that I can now use the 3157 reverse bulbs. Can anyony confirm this for me before I make my order with v-led? Thanks

Re: LED revese bulb question

no. ^^^^^ its SAD that something that isnt that difficult causes so much PAIN

OP
go find my thread. 07 to 06 tails.

you will need 3 different types of LED bulbs. i show you for the 2 reg bulbs exactly how this works. I went WITHOUT a resistor for a while but I felt the circiut was a little SLOW so I already HAD resistors and wired them in.

you will need

1 set of 3157 RED LED (top)
1 set of 3157 CK RED LED (middle)
1 set of 3157 White LEDs (rev)

i would tell lips to give you some wire for resistors. then try it. maybe you willbe happy without/ BUT then if need added 1,2,3/ 6 ohm/
tell him to copy the harness he made for me 2 month ago/

this way its all PNP you can easily go back and sell the set up.

Re: LED revese bulb question

Thanks for the help Rob. I dont think I was clear in my original post, I bought some LED taillights for the 05-06 Jeep's and was just wondering which reverse bulb I could run. I wont need the other red LED's since I have new taillights, correct? Sorry for the dumb questions, just don't want to order something I don't need.

Re: LED revese bulb question

LOLOLOL

i def misunderstood not the first time. dont tell him to copy MINE YIKES

i never had the LED TAILS but I am pretty sure you will need 3157 reverse. lips harness will take care of the wiring for everything.
no other resistance besides what the tail has built into itself neeeded/
