i cant find it on the site. The '07 has those little plug dowel plastic things that clip the housing in place on the inside of the lift gate.
whats up with the attachments on the LED housings? how do i make them work?

haha what?
you use a drill to open up the LEDs so you can use the plastic rivets.
i got ya... i figured i could just use a bolt to go into the little holders...

Nice, Can't wait to see your pics. I'd love to have another set of tinted tails (but this time LED). Who did the tinting for you?

Jonstintedtails.com
spent a good amount of time on the phone and email with jon, talking about fading dark to lighter and everything. They came out great, he really came through.

if you dont mind, can you let us know how much more than 200 you spent on the 'tinting' deal. 2 way shipping, the whole thing. not the lights of course.
thx.

thanks fellas. "installed" it but wasnt able to fully get the 2nd piece totally in. Didnt want to get my drill n do it again in the middle of the night so ill get to it when i can. Its secure so no worries.
Question for the 07+ guys: When you signal i see only the top part blinks, but what about when you BRAKE? does the whole LED light up or just the top portion? I did it in middle of the night and couldnt get anyone to test it but i did rec a short clip which look like only the top lights up when brake.

For the LED's only the Top Lights light up. It's the same from my Jeep too since I have an 05-06 Design Tailights.

thanks Paul! Dang, kinda wished the whole thing would light up if you brake. no point in the bottom half of the lights except filling in the space lol

I guess that's why they made 07-10 Tailights so the whole thing would light up too. A Company should've made 07-10 LED Tailights like these.

wait a minute.
if you have 0506 LED tails
ON AN 05 06 it works JUST LIKE STOCK. the top half is blink the bottom is brake. the whole thing lights dim with park lights on.
same ones on an 07....... park lamps lighht up whole thing dim.....BRAKE OR BLINK LIGHT UP BOTH TOP AND BOTTOM.
so if that not happening just add the major wire to the bottom half too.

Yup my LED tails light up all the way when braking. Half for signals!
