License Plate LED bulbs

I have a question. I contacted v-leds about the following Lincense plate LED (5K WHITE 5 LED 3 CHIP CANBUS PROOF 194 LED LIGHT BULBS 158 168 2825 | 1 PAIR) that I found on one of someone's post here. They were sold out so they told me I have a choice of the following LEDs (5K WHITE 4 LED 2W HIGH POWER BULBS 194 168 158 | 1 PAIR
) and (5K WHITE 8 LED BULB 194 168 158 2825 | 1 PAIR
). Which one would you guess suggest I get? Or is there a different one I should get? Also, the v-LEDs rep said these weren't canbus proof, don't know if that matters, and said its not needed on my 2012 grand cherokee ladero. I just want to thank any with any feedback. It's much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm not looking for the blue light affect. I'm just looking for the white light. Is hat what you have and putco or Phillips provide that through xenondepot?

Re: License Plate LED bulbs

So installed the led lights on the license plate. They look great without the plastic cover. Once I put the plastic cover it seems to have a slight orange reflection. Anyone else have this issue? Is it necessary to put the plastic cover back on? I would post picture but I'm just don't know how. Lol sorry fellas. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: License Plate LED bulbs

I just installed LED license plate lights on my 2013 GC. They look great and are awesome. They were $4.99 each, plus $2.99 shipping. Awesome deal! They were from Superbrightleds.com ... here is the order info:
Product code: WLED-xHP: 194 LED Bulb - 1 SMD LED Wedge Base| $ 4.95 |
WLED-WHP: Cool White

I had the same issue with the first one I pulled out but I think it was more that I thought I would break it. All I did is get a good hold of it and slightly piled it from side to side while pulling it down and it poppd right off. After I did the and I knew how much force it takes the second one popped right out. What bulbs are you using? I used Philips Blue Vision 194 T10 W5W LED Replacement Bulb which were suggested by another member here. Even though it says blue they are really just bright white.
