lighting question

I remember reading something somewhere here on how to modify a standard turn signal bulb

I want my front headlight turn signal bulb to ONLY come on/flash when the turn signals are on.

Dont I only have to clip one of the 2 wires in order to get it to do that?

Does it matter which one?

Any help is appreciated!

Dont want the things on taking away from the halos when I get some on!!

Re: lighting question

cutting wires is not the bestway as you may want that wire later.

there are 4 contacts inside the plug for that bulb. get a simple testlight and find which contact is the park signal. then remove that one wire contact from the bulb. that will stop the bulb from illuminating when park circuit is on.

a new bulb will repair anything you do so if things need to be different later its easy to do.

Re: lighting question

sorry for the confusion

thats what I meant....clip a wire off the bulb....not my Jeep's wiring system.....lol

I guess I can test the socket

but I know I saw someone post something in here about clipping the bulb wire and maybe if I recall right, saw that it doesnt matter which one......figured its alot easier to ask and find out before doing any testing

thanks Rob
