Re: locks for wheels

It's one of those things where you kind of have no choice but to keep it in the car. You get a flat and dont have it your screwed. They know that and if you hide it they will just rip the car apart trying to find it. Maybe years ago they cared about time but these days they dont care. They dont care because your neighbors dont care. No one is going to say anything to them and they know it.

Re: locks for wheels

yea, your not going to be able to fix your flat right away, your not screwed but its going to take you getting a ride to your place first. If you have a flat your going to have to call someone to pick u up to get your key and if you are going out of town then take your key and put it in your suitcase.

personally I would take a shattered window over all 4 of my wheels and tires stolen, insurance covers the window!

Re: locks for wheels

Insurance covers wheels and tires also. Friend of mine got almost $4000 of the stock wheels and tires on his Sentra Spec V In reality he made out great lol

Re: locks for wheels

yea i figured they covered stock, but wasnt sure about the expensive aftermarket wheels you buy and put on, maybe they cover those too. I guess if you have theft insurance it will. I think I just have accident from automobiles and other causes like a tree falling on your car. Im not sure about theft, i'l have to look into it. I thought it was funny that on the wheel locks instructions they tell you to keep the key in your car. lol i guess if you wanted to get serious about it you could buy a small lockbox that is impossible to crack open with a tool and bolt the box to your car on the inside.
