So I'm taking my chances with some bwoody's with the stock shocks, so far it rides pretty nice. Did the install with a buddy of mine that has a lift. The whole thing took us about 5.5 hours, however we got hung up on one bolt for about 45 minutes.
Yeah, you know I never paid much attention to the antenna before, but now that you mention it does look pretty rediculous. Thanks, now it's gonna drive me nuts. Yeah Paul I'll probably go with the good old srt reps, but it won't happen for a while. I'm ready for the next Jeep meet!
Yeah I'm not in too much of a rush to put rims on it. FYI I was sitting at about 19.25" from hub to fender before and now I'm at about 17" all the the way around.
Nice Mopar Body Kits are in Style now lol I cant wait for mines..Your jeep looks sick Slammed do you have the Rear Mopar Wing??? I think you should Plasti Dip you Stock mean while you get some SRT REps Great work man
If you use your radio for any reason (drive in theater, perhaps?) don't replace it with a shorty. They get terrible reception. Good look, bad function.
I have had two different shorty antennas one was about 4" and I had another that was about 12". Both were terrible at the drive in. It's the only time I listen to terrestrial radio so it could have just been the drive in's signal, not sure. Just wanted to mention my experience with them.
Yeah picked up a cheapy 10 dollar 13" antenna from pep boys today, it does look alot better.
It does have a rear spoiler, i'm gonna assume it is by mopar, the kit was actually on it when i bought it used. I kept asking the salesman, if it had ground effects on it because it just sits different than all the others, he kept saying no. Wasn't until i joined our old website that members pointed out that the previous owner hooked it up with the mopar body kit.

Wow Salesman like that are scarry thta have no knowledge of the things they are selling I think their full of shit all they care is to sell to get money and have no idea wat the actual value or price is of any car or truck lol BUT in your LUCK that stuff right their saved you $1000 on mods now you can get more mods lol
I know I was pleasantly surprised, however if I could do it all over again I would have gone with a hemi and put a bodykit on it. Oh well hindsight's 20/20. My little 4.7 has decent pickup with my mods. More of a grand tourer than a drag racer I guess you could say.
So after a little over a week of driving I've noticed that the rear passenger side sits about a half to a quarter inch higher than the driver side, and the front passenger sits about a quarter inch higher than the front driver side. Is that normal? I never have anyone else riding with me, do you guys think that maybe the driver's side has settled faster than the passenger side, or should lift it up and take a look at it? My parking space is on a bit of a hill so it leans towards the driver's side when i back in, maybe that has something to do with it? I took all my measurements on level ground. Any thoughts would be great. It's been like 100 degrees the last few days, otherwise I would have jacked it up already.
