Are the mgp caliper covers for the 2014 grand Cherokee because the site doesnt list the 2014 for compatability.

According to MGP they don't make caliper covers for the 2014 grand Cherokees yet.

I debated the same thing, and I chose the covers.
sold them because Im doing brembos but was happy with them as an interim solution and would have kept them on indefinitely

They look nice and are of very good quality - they are pricey for what they are but its a quick, easy and clean install as opposed
to a drawn out and slower messier paint
project on an ugly hunk of metal

My personal opinion: plastic covers posing as brembo's like those found on ebay (Brembo logo and all!) = CHEEZ

MGP CC's = acceptable, more attractive than stock/generic OE calipers (which were especially boring and ugly on my '13 Durango)

also no need to choose a bright red cover, if you want to go more subtle and just "delete" most of the caliper (as opposed to attracting more attention to it) go with a color that blends with the body paint or the wheels, that was actually my goal

Too bad they don't make them for the 2014 jeeps, you can get them when's available without all the badging on them and keep your wheels cool and clean at the same time.

I think painted calipers are cheesier than caliper covers

Re: MGP Caliper Covers - cool or cheesy?

I've got the Mgp covers and think they look good, I tried painting the calipers on my 300c and they were nice for a while but after a year they started to get a bit grubby, after I changed to Mgp covers they were easy to clean and still looking good after 2 years.

So other than a full SRT8 brake swap I'd go for Mgp.

The other option is to just paint the current calipers which would require mostly time since the paint is cheap at <$30. The MGPs are around $200 a set.

So, cheesy or cool?
I heard that the hardware that holds the cover onto the calipers become loose.
