Mirror Cap replacement

I am in the process of replacing the chrome mirror cap on a 14 overland (thanks to Scott for the paint). I'm following the mopar steps which came with caps but stuck on step 4(removing the mirror itself). There seems to be a lot going on underneath and I want to make sure I don't screw anything up. To anyone who has done this what tips do you have getting the mirror off. The instructions are pretty vague. If anyone can help
I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Re: Mirror Cap replacement

move it all the way in...towards the side window....reach behind it with your fingers and pull it off. If you have heated etc. mirrors...youll have to unclip a couple wires. They just pull straight off.
