x2. Matching the wheels would look a little too cut-up. Have you seen the SEMA WK that did what you were thinking? Too cut-up (IMHO).

Now, painting your armor the color of your rims is a different question.

I have thought about that - but in order to paint the sliders they would either need to be removed or the doors open when masked off and painted. Not really too thrilled about that idea.

i was inspired by the 09 Grand Canyon:

Re: need opinions on paint job

Do it to be different, doing the same as everyone else seems boring. Make it yours!

Re: need opinions on paint job

the other idea i had was to go flat black on the grill and then the indented area around the back license plate... POSSIBLY some flat back on the hood but not the entire hood.

Re: need opinions on paint job

oh oh - cool --> yea i wasn;t sure if you ment other peoepl have done my idea...

anyway - yea i wan to make sure what i do is suttle - thats the biggest thing. I always think about the 04 WJ Columbia editions and rocky mountain editions. they had the same Laredo set up as far as body panels go but the grey plastic was painted w/ a gloss finish. I always ;iked that look. I'm just talking about a small trim piece but that is also another source of inspiration.
