Dan... the turn signal itself wouldn't light up the SRT logo when the signal is on? when you make these don't you just put a srt sticker on the insides of the lights then paint the turn signals?

It is only a small rectangle that lights up through the amber marker. The SRT on Chad's lights is as big as can fit in the space where the light comes through. Chad's amber lens was tinted, then masked using a decal, then painted, then the decal was removed and then cleared over the entire thing.

What I gather you are talking about is putting the SRT from top to bottom on the amber.....to light that up would require cutting up the chrome behind it, and mounting some sort of LED panel to light up the entire amber.

The lettering is 5/16" tall so close-up you will see it......from far away, you will see the light but not be able to make out the SRT, most likely.

Looks cool when off though, LOL.

Re: New head lights and side molding

That SRT in the side marker is awesome. First I've ever seen. I also like how its painted red to match on the inside of the headlights, though to be honest I do like my stillens on my 05 JC. The only reason is because mines black and the stillens on make it look like Mercedes front rounded headlights. To me, the stillens installed look stock, covering the lens housing, instead of it painted behind the lens.
