New Jeep Project Question

I recently picked up a '94 YJ. It runs great, but needs some serious love.

This weekend I pulled out the seats and the entire dash to begin detailing the interior.

My son power-hosed all the non-electrical dash components then threw them into the bath tub for deep cleaning. I may repaint them, or just ArmorAll everything.

We're going to power hose most of the interior, from back to front, but I am concerned about cleaning out under the dash with water considering all the wiring and everything else under there.

I was planning on cleaning everything under the dash by hand, but I wanted to see if anyone could offer up other suggestions to help speed up the process.

Thanks!
Chris

Re: New Jeep Project Question

Scott,

Electrical contact cleaner on everything under the dash or just the water-sensitive parts.

I was thinking of scrubbing the upper sections of the floorboards and what I think is the heater core area by hand. The mud is caked on those parts (see pic below).
