Right so that will keep the LEDs on when u start the car. But my halogen will be on as well too right? So how do I reverse it. Instead of just the halogens on can't I take a wire from there a replace in to the middle port of the led connecters ?

Your Halogen light is on another circuit/wire for lack of better words, if it comes on automatically and you cannot control it because of your country's laws then you should not mess with it or try to circumvent.

In my Jeep I have the ability to turn on/off the DRL which is a lower voltage sent to my halogens (actually I installed HIDs) here in the USA and I have turned them off. And because I am not well versed in the vehicle's electrical stuff I am going to try and follow Keitherkert's instructions, I just do not want to cut into the factory wiring as to not mess with the warranty. I always prefer the option of having the ability to reverse what I have done.

I would make a mini harness peejym. Im currently working on another set of these headlights that i opened. Im going to add a new connector for drls and bring the original parking lights back that the pin was for originally. Im going to rewire my cut wire so if i ever need to flip flop headlights or sell the car everything will work properly.

Keith thanks for chiming in, so when you cut that wire you were able to power on the LEDs but you lost the parking lights??
Where are you adding the new connector to? Take some pictures of your project if you can. Thanks

If someone makes a mini harness make an extra for me I'll gladly pay for one so I don't have to figure it out lol

So I got my lights yesterday and I am already regretting it! Might not even go any further with the install. Anyone of you experience the same or is this just me? Pictures says it all... on both left and right lights.

Lemme guess you've never bought aftermartket headlights before... Thats how they all come. For over a decade of purchasing Asian branded automotive lighting I've never see anything otherwise. They package them well before the seals dry. Just pull it off gently not to disturb the seal much and then follow my build thread to see what to use to seal it up completely before installing. Not that I think you would have any issues if you didn't seal them any further. I just do it as a precaution.

You're worrying about nothing right now I've run lights that came exactly like that for over 5 years on my WJ grand cherokee and they are still going strong. I didn't even seal those any further and never had any issues.

You are correct sir, I have never bought aftermarket lights. I will take your word for it and also seal it like you did, I did cut around the plastic and did not pull much on the seal, thank god for that. Just kind of baffled why they would not wait for the seal to dry our before foam packing it. The packaging was very nice and protected the lights well as It should.

Just kind of not waiting for the seal to dry out, LOL. thanks Skunkd for chiming in.

Yea they rush them to packaging probably so they don't get damaged. They should use something that dries faster instead lol.
