Again thank you Keitherkert for the tip on the middle wire!!

Once I finish the harness I will post more.

That's great! Can you post a link showing where those connectors can be bought? That would help out a lot of us who are borderline about buying these headlights.

Re: New LED headlight for 2014 grand Cherokee Laredo

Yes it was not easy getting these connectors, as I have stated before Chrysler\Mopar decided that one of the connectors should now be part of the whole headlight assembly so a part that would cost around $10 is now part of an assembly that costs over $500, making you buy the whole assembly.

I could be wrong on this but this is what I and a few other dealers I called gathered from the parts diagram. and while inquiring on the purchase.

I will have to test it all to make sure it works, once I can verify I will post back here with a write up for those of you that want to make your own and help those that do not or cannot make their own ( that is if I can even find more connectors)

I had one of their listings on my "watch list" and they were not available anymore as well, as of a few days ago. I just ran a new search under the sellers store and they were under a new listing. Exact product, from the exact same seller, for the exact same price.

The original listing I had saved did become "unavailable" from time to time. They always seemed to restock it in a few days though.

With this harness will the LEDs dim when the turn signals are used?

Can you post part numbers for them?

Re: New LED headlight for 2014 grand Cherokee Laredo

Okall I bench tested the connectors last night and all works well, here are thelinks and parts numbers you will need to make your own harness:
MoparWiring 3-way repair kit #68148102AA, this kit contains 2 connectors withcables.
Thesocket which was a pain the arse to find and I still have not found because asI stated it is no longer a part that can be bought separately from theheadlight assembly (according to the many dealers I spoke with) is this one:

OEM! 11-13 Dodge Durango / JeepGrand Cherokee Headlight Turn Signal Parking Light BULB & SOCKET LAMP -Factory Xenon

SoI found one that works just as well but it is a Ford socket,LOL. On ebay here:

Ford Turn Signal Parking LightSocket Front Head Lamp 2U5Z 13411 SA w Amber | eBay

Youcan also buy the 3-way wire along with the socket here:

New Ford Light Socket Signal LampHeadlight Parking w Wiring Pigtail Bulb | eBay

Yourfinal piece to make the harness is this item:

3156 3157 Male Adapter WiringHarness for Headlight Tail Lamp Signal Retrofit | eBay

Soafter you make your purchases all you have to do is splice a male to femaleharness and make the middle wire go directly to your fuse box as perKeitherkert instruction on a post here in this thread. Simple once you have allthe parts. No need to cut into your stock wires and you will have the LEDs comeon with the ignition and not the park lights.

Onone last note I BENCH TESTED THIS and I have no yet installed the lights andfully tested blinker action or full functionality, buy and make at your ownrisk!

Enjoy your lights and have fun!

Nope, this will have the LEDs at constant on as long as the ignition is on no dimming no blinking on the LEDs. You can have the custom one shown in this thread for a price tag of over $1000 for both lights.

Yeah, I got that quote too. But it is a custom mod so I wasn't too surprised at the price.

I'm just curious if the blinker will be drowned out by the LEDs?

Yes there is allot of work they put into it and it looks badass, I just cannot afford that $ tag. The blinker does not make the LED dim at all, at least not on a bench test. But then again these LEDs are not real bright during the day so...
