Re: New LED headlight for 2014 grand Cherokee Laredo

I finally got these after a week and after further thought I'm not going to install them... It's hard for me to install these aftermarket taiwan lights on my 40k truck, I think the better option is to wait for a less expensive custom harness and install oem srt headlights with xenon

Ur nuts. Screw having to deal with custom wiring harnesses and relays. These things are plug and play and awesome!

Good luck with that.

Haha! I had a bad experience putting eagle eyes headlights on my Mustang! Can't see at night now!

Too funny!

So you think ALL the parts in your truck are made in USA?

I had the lights for 3~4 months now and no issues, still in one piece.

Re: New LED headlight for 2014 grand Cherokee Laredo

My main concern is the light output. Is it going to be equal to the output of the oem projectors or is the beam going to be all over the place?

I want these bad. Also wondering on light output from the projectors compared to stock. Someone with them should chime in on this

There are some pics earlier in this thread, where people took night pics - think Skunkd has some in his build thread as well along with a video. My phone takes awful night pictures, or I'd post up mine.

I personally think they are plenty bright and the housing inside is great. Equal to, if not better than oem. I tossed some of these bulbs in for headlamp/high beams/fog lights to replace the ugly stock yellowish lights and have been very happy. Those bulbs below are just plug and play for all 3 light outputs. If you went HID and all that harness jazz you'd probably get even brighter output.

Overall, very happy with the shipping, build quality, ease of installation, and look/performance of them so far - been on my jeep for about 2+ months now. Only wish the functioned as DRLs right out of the box!

None at all so far, been perfectly dry and we've had some crummy wet weather down in TX over the last 8-10 weeks. Just to be safe, I followed Skunkd's lead and gave it once over with some outdoor clear silicone. If you go over the seals, you can't see a thing once they headlights are installed. If you pop the hood
you can see the top of the lights, so you may want to be a bit cleaner up there. Probably an unneeded step, but for the extra $6 for a tube of silicone, why not?
