Here are a few pics of the led brightness during the day, I'm working with a local shop to replace the led strip with a brighter alternative and so swap out the projectors with Lexus rx350 projectors and sti lenses...I'll try to post some pictures as the project progress so you can see before and after

Beebo401, thank you for the pictures. Do you by any chance have a close-up picture of the back of the light where the wires come out and the light bulb holes?

I will try to take some before they are installed. Shouldn't be an issue

I just split the wires, but if you don't want to do that you could make a simple harness that ends the middle wire and takes in the new wire for the middle.

The LED connection is the middle wire for the blinkers
(big red-ish pink plug). I ran a wire from a fuse (F100 - 10A - Active Damping **only turns on with ignition) to both headlights. (I put a small hole into the fuse box for the wire)
Cut the middle wire on the blinkers, about a inch before the connector, and add the new wire. Tape off the old wire, add a cap to the new one and tape off.
plug in the headlights and you should be good to go.

I was hoping to make it simple and hook up the led to the projectors and split the wires, but the projectors voltage seems to fluctuate between 6 and 8v. The LEDs need 12v (which F100 fuse puts out) for them to work right. They have a constant 6v sent to them when the car is on, but they do not power on until it gets 12v.

The nice thing about having it this way is that I can keep my projectors off of DRL since the led strip will always be on.

Sorry, didn't take any pictures during setup.

I drove it for about 3 hours yesterday, the new wires were not hot and everything else seemed to operate normally.

I have a 2014 limited, I don't think the 2015 would be any different.
Thanks for the instructions Keitherket, I would prefer to go this route instead of having my park lights on all the time and having the LED strip come on with the ignition on. Good job.

I talked to him and he's going to look into upgrading the led strip and putting in real bi-xenon projectors with an hid kit. Prob going to be a few weeks before it all comes together but hopefully it turns out great! I'll update soon, and if you in the New England area I can give you the referral for his business.

I don't like posting prices just because it may vary per project depending on what you want to do, best bet is to email Dan at rihids@yahoo.com. Great guy and really stands by his work
