meaning....you technically only need 1 projector per headlamp as your lo beam and high beam!

the wires are to activate the 'shutter' to come down (giving you that distinct perfect cut off line so sought after)

once its wired in, and you flip your high beam....the 'shutter' opens letting loose ALL hid light out of the projector

so, imagine FOUR projectors wide open

we rigged the 'shutter' from both projectors to my high beam plug so my stalk moves the shutter. just get a female for the 9005 or make one out of an old bulb.

Looks good! I love retrofits

You should paint the turn signal reflectors

Re: new light mod

not a fan of the turn signal bowls painted when its going on a black Jeep

makes it look like it has a lazy eye or droopy eyelids to me LOL

Im trying to keep the circle theme.......circle projector shrouds, circle halos, circle reflectors, etc

if I wasnt doing the halo rings, Id consider blacking it out

lol I see it the complete opposite: all black blends in and the chrome bowl stands out. But I'm biased. I blacked out my entire bezel, looking at yours again, your projector bezels are chrome so yeah, unpainted will mesh better with those.

I can't wait to see them on

How do you like those Morimoto Minis? I've only ever used E55s.

since Im doing quads, I didnt want to paint the whole lamp black like you

the quads will be stepped and dont line up when you look at them straight on (the low beam sits about 1-2" higher than the high beams)

too me, once you paint the whole lamp black and the projector shroud black, it makes the projector lens stand out more making the "stepping" stand out more

as for the minis....they are simple to work with.......just plug into the existing whole and tighten!!!

I will get back to you on how difficult they will be to align

the reviews Ive found online is that the cutoffs and color effects are amazing
