new light mod

my progress so far:

inside rings painted satin black

quad set up of the newer Morimoto Mini projectors for a pretty easy plug in play (there's some use of the dremel, but not nearly as bad as retrofiting was in the past!!)

now just awaiting halos

I will update the post as I progress

Anyways, lights look sick!

Re: new light mod

I know I know! Im just joshing too.......too many people take sports allegiances to heart!

I LOVE my bucks, but also respect that other people can love their teams just as much!!!

with that being said......OSU>the rest

back on topic........

these lights are a ways out.....still undecided on Halos

not to mention that FT wont return calls or PMs LOL

Im waiting for CHAD of BlackOps to develop some......he will be my first choice anyways!

Not a fan of Ohio State at ALL (go Hawkeyes!) j/k

How hard was it to take the headlights apart to paint the insides black? Are you worried about the heat from the headlights affecting it? I think this mod looks really nice but no way I'm shipping them out to pay $200 or so to have it done.

I personally had a rough time!

I dont know if my oven wasnt getting hot enough or if the company used waaaaaaaaay too much butyl tape....but it was a royal PITA to separate!

Once I got them open, the paint and projector installs not bad at all!!

I say get your lights from DCSpecial and work something out with him to ship you the lights with the lens off if you want to try projectors!!!
