New WK hood feeler

So, most of you have seen my hood and I'e gotten several PM's regarding it. That being said, if the hood were to be made available, would you buy it? Also, would you want fiberglass, aluminum, or steel?
Here's a pic in case you missed it.
Again, this is just a feeler, nothing is officially being offered yet.

Re: New WK hood feeler

bro maybe some more pics from the underside. I have seen them and I know for me, when i saw the pic above, it looked as if you just CUT louvers into a stock hood.
but once I saw underneath, it showed that other things could be done with the vent area. and how its a section thats been added to the hood and has some structure.

I love the looks of the hood and more pix would do more justice for it ...

Re: New WK hood feeler

The bottom is being completed as we speak and in regards to structure, there is no loss in structural integrity. It's just as solid as before it was cut. I will get pics as soon as I can.

Re: New WK hood feeler

I like the idea of vents, but IMO would look better closer to parallel to the grill angle, rather than angled. If you want to get trick, can have something like a louver normally closed underneath and opened manually via cable or solenoid, etc. Or look how the 5.9's did it, although not as effective as fully open.

i didnt mean anything to the contrary about structure. I just wanted to be sure you show them the details under there, as that was a positive thing. and it sounds like that will be even more finished than I saw, which will be sweet.

im on my 3rd hood now so this may not be for me but if it was I would prefer aluminum like the OEM.

Re: New WK hood feeler

Aluminum will definitely be an option.
