Newbie antenna question

I've been reading the threads for a while, but never posted. I recently purchased a stubby antenna on ebay. It came with 4 inserts but none seem to fit the hole in my 2005 WK. I have found that the antenna insert is 5mm and the jeep hole is 1/4 20. Has anyone else had this problem? if so, how did you fix it?
Thanks, Thomas

Re: Newbie antenna question

if you contact the seller, usually they have anothe radapter they can send you. I had this happen on one ebay antenna.

on another I just drilled and tapped the antenna to hold 1/4-20 then cut the end of a bolt and viola.......

I may have to try drilling and tapping. or using a die set and making my own adapter.
