So if black/black = murdered, black/red = bloodied, black/white= Storm trooper... then black/blue is BRUISED!
Did the wheels, all belt trim and the roof rails in gloss black.
I couldn't be happier. everything looks amazing. I love that it's not like mostly everyone else who body matches the chrome to hide it. I went the other way!
As far as the rear sensors, the painter sanded the little sensors and painted them sparingly. They work perfectly!
you beat me to the bruised look lol i had my black reps mounted today but im not putting them on my jeep until next month. it looks great!!!! your pics eased some of my fears of the black wheels looking dumb on blue.
I have a set of oem projectors coming in from DCspecial in the next few weeks - got the amber area painted steel blue, and the entire inside painted gloss black (to include the high beam housing) so it will at least give you an idea of what it looks like, even though you are not steel blue.
I definitely want to see that. I have the headlights on my list for future mods... it's just that I can't justify the huge amount of $$ for a mod i'm not positive about yet.
I like the OEM/ should have been a factory option look. The headlights are really skirting the line on OEM v.s. heavily modded.
All MB headlights would look insane with SRT tinted over the side marker. Downstate's idea with the amber area in blue and the rest in black will look great too. If you don't use your highbeams that often, painting them is a must.
Any thought to painting the brakes MB? It wouldn't pop as much as the red, but I think it would look better with your theme.
Where in Gambrills? I'll have my SRT down here in October (I'm at Fort Meade for a few courses) I'm always over near Gambrills hiking (near old dairy farm road). Might have to get the roof rails paint matched when I'm down here
I'm meeting up with an SRT guy from fort Meade tomorrow at the security square mall. You should come! PM me and we'll talk about the painter. When is the SRT going to come with? Bring it by! Would love to see it.
