Re: Opinion on Rims

YEah, most important is getting the correct offset, having wheels sticking out just looks ridiculous, and shouts to anyone who knows, that you don't know enough to care. lol

Re: Opinion on Rims

IMO if you don't drop your ride, go with the 24's. Otherwise I would drop your ride with some SRT springs (what I did), or some other aftermarket ones. I think it looks better dropped with the 22's IMO.

Question - when you put on 22's did you have to do anything extra to get them to fit? I saw somewhere that you have to shave down the silver bar that is behind it (sorry, can't think of what it's called right now). Is this true?

If your selling your 22's let me know, those look sick!!!!

Re: Opinion on Rims

I like those 24s, they look good. and i had a local rim shop throw the 22's on there and there were no problems, basically just bolt on, i didnt get into the adapters and making it ghetto.

I think my next set of wheels will be the 22'' SRT replicas w a Eibach lowering kit and run a 265/40/22 tire if i have enough room. Im looking to get rid of these soon tho. Only had them on for two months.

Good thread & great pics. I'm going to be looking for rims this spring for my silver 05 WK. I was thinking black with big 5 spokes.

Re: Opinion on Rims

Do you notice a difference in ride from the stock 17's to 20's or 22's? If so, what?

Re: Opinion on Rims

The brand of the rims are U2 55s.The tires are 265/35/22 with an offset of 22 x 9.5 and the bolt pattern is 5 x 127. They may say they dont fit because they are not flush with the body, they stick out about an inch all the way around unless the bolt pattern for the 2005 is different than the 2010 im not sure on that one but i didnt use any adaptors just threw them on, the 35 series tire with my rims kept the original stock tire diameter and i did that to keep the speedometer the same, ride wasnt shitty, just a little stiffer due to less of a sidewall in the tires. you would have to ask a local tire shop if 40s will work because BigDiesel74 is running 24s with a 30 series so im sure it would work.

I am a fan of the silver and black combo, looks great when done correctly!
