I may just try it out anyway... It's honestly a 10 minute job and I could prob do it myself after watching how it was done.. You can refinish it every year if need be for not much.

As long as the vinyl is put on well enough to make it look like they are legitimately black and not just a sticker it will look good, I had a kid in my school put chrome pillars on his 300 and it looks like shit so you have to be carefulll

I'm going to a pro, so I should be straight.

If the first one looks like crap I'll have him stop there.

Here's a pic of Benny's Jeep to use as a reference. I'm going w/ basically the same color vinyl more or less.

I think it will go pretty well w/ my black out theme. It should blend fairly well and look stock to the untrained eye.

Re: Opinions on headlight tinting

Ok so after driving at night with the film on my fogs I can tell a slight difference with the amount of light output emitting. My 3k fogs were not as a crisp yellow as they used to be but still plenty bright.

That said I will still most likely go with the same level of tint (gunsmoke) on the headlights as well. If I don't like how they turn out I'll switch them out to a lighter shade of tint and go from there.

More pics to follow hopefully Friday once installed.

Re: Opinions on headlight tinting

I can but it will do me no good bc I can't upload pics from my camera at the moment, but I'll try..

I didn't take any last night, but like I said I could tell a slight difference in that they were not as bright. I would guess 10% lighter or so, but still very bright.

Dude Irf that looks fine, it looks like the project out pretty far.. You can't see the yellow from a seated position you said.. It looks like it casts out like mine.

---------- Post added at 12:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:05 PM ----------

Maybe I just sit up higher in my seat than you do. lol
