I'd rather just not be an idiot and use regular paint...

sorry! I couldn't let a gem like that pass!

All joking aside... it looks good, but... I think people are taking this plasti-dip thing a little too far though. That stuff is so thick, I can't imagine the fitting isn't affected somehow.

nope...it has it uses...I guess??? But why not do it right if your gonna take the time to do it? My painted interior is almost bullet proof! No scratches, dings etc. in almost 5 years. He even says himself that the edges are already peeling! Its JMO to do it right the first time...instead of making a mess, wasting your time just have to have it look like crap. I guess if he just did one piece to see what a painted interior would look like...then thats ok. Just sayin'......

Re: Painted ma insides!

Haha S.O.T.I. they snapped right back on in place no issues at all with fitment and Scott I chose this route in the event I did not like the end result I could simply take the stuff off without scuffing my pieces up with sand paper if I had gone with paint. I had been considering painting it for a while as you may remember I sent you a bunch of PM's about it but we are still in Winter here and I got impatient.

With shitty weather and without a garage I had to rush this project in a small window I had which is why the edges are rough. It is not a faulty product its a faulty operator lol.

Ya right, you can definitely mess up much worse w paint than plasti poo!! But, if you take your time and have patience, you'll be much better off. Paint looks muuuuuuch better. I was gonna plasti poo my 4x4 logo but I went w paint and it's much smoother n cleaner and sexier. IMO nonetheless this is diff and I like and good job!!

Re: Painted ma insides!

Just a little update. I've had to touch these up like 4 times since doing this. With all the hand traffic that goes on over them you tend to get scratches all over em and eventually they begin to come off. While it may be an easy mod I have decided to just save myself the trouble and just paint them up the right way. That is all.
