Looks great. I have the same color in the Dupli-color brush on kit. What I did notice is after the winter the paint chipped off at some areas. In the spring I just sanded them down again and repainted them. I think it is because of the heat and all the road salt we have on the roads in New England. But I found they give you alot of paint so I still have enough to repaint them for another year at least. I like how you did the "Jeep" in another color, I was lazy and did them all red. I give the Dupli-color kit a thumbs up all in all.
Same here...did the wife's WK in black with silver letters. They held up for 2 winters and then started to look a little beat up. Not bad though...so I retouched them. Still holding up VERY nicely. I painted the calipers on my WJ too...that Duplicolor brush on kit is pretty good stuff.
Thanks for the compliments,everyone.
Nate, I'll tell ya what...c'mon over there's lots of paint left. Bring some Yuengling, we'll hoist a few, you do the front calipers, I'll do the rears. Deal?
When I painted mine it took me about 3 weeks to do. I did them one at a time in my spare time. But its def worth it, makes them stand right out. Seeing the "Jeep" lettering done makes me want to try and do mine also. I like how the rears have covers that can be snapped off and removed, unlike the fronts which are part of the calipers.
Awesome! As a matter a fact I did mine like that as well a few weeks ago. Black with silver text. I hear you on the text part. Surface is so uneven that it was a pita to get it to look good. But with a really really thin pencil and lots of patience you can get it to look........decent
Yours came out really nice though
