What would be the best way to black the bit of chrome inside the headlight?

looks great! Youd have to pull the lamps apart and paint the chrome.

Have you thought about or seen Plastic Dip ? I haven't used it myself but I just might when I get my JGC next month.

Check out some other forums. I've read a few posts of people pulling the headlamps apart on CTVs and painting them but they had to heat the headlamp assembly in the oven in order to soften the glue to disassemble them.

I personally wouldn't want to try it without following someone else's lead but that's up to you.
