Micallef did his roof, hood, and grille. It's got me thinking of trying it, especially since it's pretty cheap and easy to remove.

But has since taken it off his hood. There's video on how easy it comes off.

tape off a rectangle and then just spray. don't tape around the letters. then after a few coats it peels off perfectly around the letters. there is a thread on here somewhere about it.

Re: Plasti-dip strikes again!

-->Chavo
I used about 3 cans of plasti dip to do my rims... I removed the wheel and removed my center caps as well to plasti dip those seperatly. You will need two -three (just in case) decks of cards... place them around the rims to reassure you don't get any on the tire itself... I then taped paper to the inside of the rim to cover holes so it did not splash on the back side. Then you will use the plasti dip totaling three even coats. I would wait an hour in between each coat as I noticed some "dripping" if you wait 30 - 45 minutes between coats. Give it a good two hours to dry before you put the wheel back on the vehicle. Hope this helps, its super easy day in the garage (along with a few drinks to help out)
