Re: Plasti-Dipped Wheels

Just peel it off. Might be a PITA to get it started but once you get it going its like peeling a banana. Couldnt be easier.

Re: Plasti-Dipped Wheels

Looks good, just wondering, how do you get it off? Like does it just peel off or do you need to do something special? I want to do this to my truck but i want to make sure it comes off in case i screw it up haha

Ya I sure as hell wouldn't use it on my YJ even though I don't wheel rocks. I go through enough deep mud, dirt and sand to see it take a ton of maintenance to keep it looking good. But on my WK it still looks great, despite the road salt, snow, and 350 mile round trips that I take to upstate NY frequently. Even though I messed up the lips on probably 3/4 of the wheels, the plasti-dip has still not peeled off from those areas like I thought they would.

It's an extremely durable material, and I guess I would consider that it hardens but it doesn't become hard and brittle, yet more durable and flexible.
