Re: really random

I wouldn't no...

Powdercoating / paint will survive Winters no problem, if they were chrome on the other hand yes. I had chrome and got them powdercoated (now painted but still) for that exact reason, to save swapping wheels.

I do drive more carefully on icy/snowy roads just incase I slide into the kerb whilst having fun tho!

Im from queens ny and have had my reps on since the winter, and faced this same issue. And of course you know it was a hell of a winter here on the east coast, but i never had an issue with my ride once..The main reason i left them on was i couldnt bare to see stock rims and a srt body kit..any way thank god its august..good luck with ur decision..

Re: really random

No way in hell would I leave them on...push it until they salt the roads, then yank them off, clean and wax them and put them aside until spring.

The salt here destroys everything...and I can't imagine it's much different where you are.

im putting mine back on to be on the safe side. I still got my stockers so why not lol. Aside from the salt, im worried about ice maybe scratching it.
