First off I would like to thank Mario (QBNKID) for one, allowing me to use his lift at the shop, two, helping me out by painting the calipers because I was scared I was going to fawk it up after I was finished sanding and prepping the calipers for paint lol, and three for letting the SRT get a bath (body and underbody) as well.
Well after my first attempt at painting the calipers using the VHT bullshit paint that came out joker purple, I figured I would use the Duplicolor Metalcast Paint for this.
Sorry for the cell phone pics guys/gals.
Now after the sanding (at the point of the pic, I didnt finish masking everything up yet).
This is after the 2 coats of primer. White wouldnt look bad as a color!
(Mario in the pic.
After the ground coat. It turned out Escalade Pearl White. Again, it looked pretty good.
Next step was the color. We were both stunned on how this color turned out! In person you just say wow!
This pic is after the clearcoat and the brembo decals.
And a pic of the wheel back on.
(Dont worry I cleaned the area around the lugs when I saw the pic lol)
Again, thanks Mario for all your help brother!
Now next Sunday we are going to re-do his Jeep's calipers. Stay tuned!
Thanks for looking!
P.S. Mario took a video as I was leaving his garage, I'm sure he will post it soon!
