Rough Country vs Skyjacker vs BDS

2",,, only need a 2" lift and need some insight. I've heard and read some really bad reviews on the Rough Country but its the least expensive. I am only interested in the aesthetics, not likely to be off-road. The Skyjacker reviews are marginal. Seriously any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED

Re: Rough Country vs Skyjacker vs BDS

Bushings will likely last longer if its just for looks, if you're looking @ kits with new arms. 2" spacers, hard poly/aluminum not much of a diff.

Re: Rough Country vs Skyjacker vs BDS

I bought a 2" lift from bds for my 2006 grand Cherokee their claim on their website is: "If you are the original purchaser of any BDS lift kit and it breaks, we will give you a new part. Period."

Re: Rough Country vs Skyjacker vs BDS

there is a very famous lift kit around off roaders, for mild jeeping:
Old MAn Emu (OME), 2" lift kit, HD (there are 2 versions, Medium or Hard, Hard will give you a little more lift and most prefer it). It's around 700 bucks, though.
This is for the non srt version, and it replaces all 4 coils and all 4 springs:
OME 2.0" lift kit WK/XK

check the rest of the products in these 2 pages in case you need A-arms, wheel spacers, coil or strut spacers (to give a little more lift), etc:
Grand Cherokee 2005-2010 (WK, WH)
