best way is to pop off the inner door panels, you dont need all the way, just the bottom part. i was able to just pull on the bottom of the inner panel and it popped off. then you reach in and push the pins/clips holding the trim to the door, out.
thats the best way not to mess up what you have on there so you can sell.
and its not that hard. i think on one end of the front there is a small piece of t2 side tape too. but these clips/pins they just push out. its a easy job.
i never saw inside the chrome, mine are all the laredo ones. but there is not much chance or breaking them by pushing them through. more risk of breaking one if you try to pull from the outside. but from inside much better odds it will be 100% perfect.
im guessing the chrome ones have similar clips to the Laredo ones. they use the same hole.
Oh all right, I didn't even know about the method you told me. All the ones I remembered seeing was to yank them etc. Thanks for answering the question. Hopefully the member will be willing to trade and can paint his moldings by daniel.
I have a set of chrome strips from my '08 someone can have for shipping (I replaced with color-matched strips). I used the "yank" method to remove them so a few of the clips broke, but a strip of 2-sided tape will fix that.
