SRT8 Roof Rails Fitment

So I got my SRT8 Roof rails from Heather 313 and I noticed when I was putting them on that the front is not flush with the roof, and sits off the roof. Also the front bolt does not go all the way down. (thats what she said). I havent used the double sided tape yet, I was just test fitting them. Any Advise ?

Re: SRT8 Roof Rails Fitment

im not sure why the bolt does not go all the way in. pretty sure ALL of my bolts were snugged.

the 2-sided tape should take care of it sticking up. my front tip did that on one side and i just addeda bit of tape all the way to the tip.

get youself some new 2-sided tape for it. i also HIGHLY recommend the 3m tape primer. it amkes the tape stick a GABILLION times better than without it.

Ok, now another issue, I lost one of those little black washers that are inside the bolt slots. Do I need them, and If I can do whit out one, where should it go?

I think I had my first set on with no washers IIRC!

I put some teflon tape on the bolts too!
