I already know what everyone is going to say. Go 15% bro... No higher that 20% if you want to be close to the stock rears. Also check this thread out. A lot of input there...

Either way it's a great mod. Was my very first mod. I made the apt before I actually had the truck and drove it right there drom the dealer. LOL

35 is too light. The 15% will look lighter cause like Mamba said the windshield brings in a ton of light so 15% will look like 20% during the day. and if there's cops around I just open the moonroof to let light in. LOL

and someone said something about not rolling the windows down? why not? do you mean just while the tint settles?

Yeah the summer is the best time to tint. At least 2 days bro...

Winshield tinting is a bit tricky. I did want to do it but the rain sensors and high beam video are a thing i dont want to get wet. A good tint place wont do it because of the electronics.

Also, I did mention this in a previous thread but i found a great tint place in suffolk LI that does tints and custom Lamin-X tails and headlights:

Underground Tinting and customs

1566 Ocean Ave # 1
Bohemia, NY 11716

Owners name is Rich. Great guy, tell him you know me. hes done all of our Subarus (i owned a WRX before the jeep). well worth the trip.

^^^ Yup I love my tinted tails. I always see people behind me pointing and looking at them... Even some old broad was looking like How The F*ck... LOL

looks like the local shop can match the fronts at 15% for 85$ with a lifetime warranty. sounds like a "go" to me!

Mine was like $90 I think. Back in the days I used to get my whole car for $100. LOL

Me too. But I'll go a little more south. Like Florida keys, LOL
