Tail light warping problems?

ok... i'm tired of searching...

people on "the other site" have pretty much sworn to the fact that '05-'07 tinted tails WILL warp... end of story...

true? not? who has stock '05-'07 tinted tails?

I just sent some to get tinted and if they warp.. ima be really sad...

I personally don't like the look of the LED tails, so thats not an option, so please no "get LED's!" you just take up space and annoy me

haha kidding.. but really... can we please lay this to rest?

Re: Tail light warping problems?

I'm wondering this also, since I am purchasing another pair of OEMS to get tinted by daniel.

My mind is made up already, and no LEDs for me. (for now)

Re: Tail light warping problems?

Get L.... wait j/k. But I read about it also and opted for LEDs. But I only think it was people in the hot states that had problems with warping. Also they went Dark on the tint. I think med tint on stock tails works fine.

Re: Tail light warping problems?

If you don't likt the LED tails just get the LED bulbs in the stocks and you'll be good...

I think thats what also caused the warping. The LED bulbs are hotter then the oem bulbs, arent they?

Re: Tail light warping problems?

I would say a big fat NO on the drilling holes... IMO Just don't put cold water on them when theyre hot. Mine are dark and I have no problem. I've had them for about 3 months.

---------- Post added at 11:31 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:30 AM ----------

Led's barly give off any heat at all. the holagen bulbs get hot. Just the earlier wk's with the 2 bulb tails are the one's I'd be concerned with.
