That looks pretty good. I'm surprised at how much light still comes thru.

Me too, That's partly why I can't really decide what way to do the tails. It's a little more work than tinting, but It's different and the output isn't bad. Even before I make an LED board to replace the incandescent bulb with.

Honestly, you did a great job, but tinting it looks more smoother, I would tint your tail lights, tinting looks better, and if you say tinting is easier to do, then tint them

Please explain what you mean. Are you sayin that the texture will be smoother with tint? That can be fixed with a little sanding. Are you saying that the lines of the body would flow smoother with tint? I would think that black tint on a blue paint job would break it up more. Or, are you sayin that smoother equals cooler? I agree that tinted tails are cool lookin, but I sure would like to see someone try in a color other than black or red. That would be waaaaay cool in my book.

If for no other reason than just to see what it looks like, I say paint em!
