No yellow...ever. I had yellow shocks on my XJ. Bothered me so much I actually removed them, painted them a different color, and re-installed. I've also been known to carbon vinyl wrap my shocks. I haven't done anything with the WJ yet because they are more hidden (no lift like on my old XJ). I'd say if you do anything, change the color of the shocks before painting any exterior trim to match them.
