nice! but I bought some red leds off ebay for the tail lights and they were just bad maybe idk if it was because i got red or they product was just bad... thats the onlything keeping me away from getting them. Maybe ill just have to see them on your jeep again and have to get them haha

woah! no those are way to expensive for me i was talking about the 24 or 27 led white lol

i think we would it for the turn signal. i just orderd one for mine

Yeah, I would only go with the v-leds from now on, their quality and performance is 2nd to none, in the long run the price will be worth it.

I know, for that price we could probably get some HIDs for reverse :D.

Oh I will, hopefully soon, I've been changing too many bulbs back there, last one was yesterday. Next time I have to change a single bulb back there I'm switching ALL of them to v-leds. :)

Yeah I don't think why you can't, you might need to silicone the socket in place since you wouldn't be able to use the OEM screw-in socket base. Well now that I think about it... probably that base can be modified (open hole in the back and gut it) to fit the new hid socket . Hmm... I might try that sooner than you think, I have an extra set of HIDs some one recently gave me ;).
Has this mod been done on a WJ? Back up HIDs?

Was your problem only the bulb? i would have to replace the whole thing till i got smart and bought a socket and connected it directly :D saved alot of money.

yeah! i think i know what your talking about! ill take a look at that tomorrow and let you know

i think ive seen one on cardomain but i might be wrong

do you know where i can can get a bulb but not too expensive?

no i would have to replace the whole tail light because it wouldnt light up with the light on while braking

ok had to take to dog out so i said y not and take a look at tail light lol the balast fits with no prob in the rear bumper but how would you go about wiring it?

i couldnt stop thinking about it so i went out and did it :D
now i just need another bulb and some nicer wireing to do

very simple black with black and red with purple black

looks really nice in person
Holly sh*t.... You are crazy... you went out installed HIDs and came back 1 1/2 hrs later with pics and all.
Looks great!
How did you install the bulb/socket?
Told ya wiring wasn't going to be a problem...
Depending on the connectors of the extra ballast you have you might be able to order the other bulb from Xenon depot or another vendor here. Snap a pic of the ballast and connectors so we can see.

I actually got a compliment from a cop when I got pulled over on how nice and bright the inside of my jeep was before he gave me 2 tickets. LOL

Thanks. I'm looking for them potentially for my WJ as well, besides my fathers WK. I was looking at the HID's on the V-Led page but was reading that XenonDepot is supposed to be pretty good. The V-Led page advertises a slim digital ballast. I know the slims are preffered because they are pretty small but what does the digital get you I'm wondering.

I am really interested in what happened to the LED's for the interior. Are they still available from another source?

Thanks.
