You had to do that didnt you? LOL

Now get the thread back on track and backup my last info post on lifts and tell him what tires he can run with a 2" bb and why the rustys 2" bb is best bang for the buck.

Re: Wheelskins, worth it?

He can stuff 265/70/17's with minimum rub at full lock only which can be fixed by folding the pinch weld. IMO the best tire will be a 31.1 (255/70/17) if he doesn't plan on crazy wheeling (which is soooo much fun!!)

Rocky Road has a good product too (minus the shocks) but there reputation is not to good and they seem to take to long on shipping.

Re: Wheelskins, worth it?

Lifting my WK wont happen for a very long time, not till its been paid off and replaced with the new GC. I am having a hard enough time getting these 18s to put on it and anything else i do has to be un noticeable or under the hood. I was amazed i got away with putting my exhaust on. lol

I dont even understand the pinch weld stuff I am just pondering at the idea of having that 2 inch lift with those tires you suggested. How much is this going to hit the pockets? Plus I dont think i'll be offroading in new york city anytime soon. I just want something to match the look with the brushguards? ( I hope in any way shape of form I do not seem like a poser )
