Did your roof panel survive you sitting on it?

Yes, no problem. To be frank it was never a concern, it always felt strong but I could not help to pay attention to distribute my weight on the largest surface possible.

Not personally but read somewhere that they were among the better suppliers.

Hard as in it would take longer that if it were flat. For sure. But its my first install and I did not find it that difficult. Time consuming but neither complex or complicated. It really has to be a piece of cake from a technical standpoint for an experienced installer.

In terms of price there probably is a good mark up from the shop. I understand that an installer is paid between $2 and $3.50 per square foot by the shop for a car wrap depending on complexity of the job and the roof is probably one of the more complicated parts.

Re: WK black matte vinyl roof

So the ridges on the roof is no problem the vinyl is made to mold on to the shape correct? it makes sense flat roof is just to lay and heat and stretch and bubble out all the bubbles but the ridges does get me thinking and like u said the roof is a complicated piece i guess it intimates me to do it on my own...Thank you for the information RVTIFER its ver appriciated

Yep, get the right vinyl and it will stretch enough to "mold" around the ridges.

I'd have to also agree that if you never played around with vinyl its probably not a good idea to attack a WK roof as you first project.

fellers.com is supposed to be one of the best in the business. Not sure where you live in KY (or why I did not think of this before) but fellers has a database of its certified installers, check it out here if you are still looking for someone.
