WK2 OEM HID conversion..

So from what I have been reading on this site, the conversion process to the OEM HIDs from halogen, is rather, trying...

I am going to approach this process very slowly, and i am going to slowly order things so i dont mess anything up (i want to take the bumper off only once!)

I am over the halogen headlights and i dont want to stick HIDs in there and have the light scatter everywhere -which defeats the purpose of the projectors.

I have noted the conversion that was done to Scott's (sick ass) Durango, and i am thinking that the front end is about the same as a grand cherokee -as far as electrical lighting components go.

Any help approaching this will be much appreciated, and as i successfully complete steps to finish the conversion i will post write ups and take as many pictures as i can to help others that may want to approach this.

i already have the LH side light and i am going to bid on an RH side light soon.

Re: WK2 OEM HID conversion..

First Light (LH) came today, and i ordered the canbus fix harnesses as well, im just waiting on the RH light to come and i still have to order the additional wiring as well. so slowly but surely this is going to happen. I have read and reread Scott's write-up for his durango and i am going to be referring to that for the process as the jeep lights are similar. And because the wk2 cherokee is a little different i will be posting pictures and comments as well. Ill keep you updated!
