those are 6500k.....my wife has the d4s 6500k bulbs. I had the 8000K XD kit before i installed the oem projectors and those are DEFINATELY not 8000K.

Dude....its all about the camera angles....time of day the pic was taken.....each members camera.....different vehicles.....projectors vs. Reflectors etc. I guarantee I could take pics of my 5000k bulbs and get different looks in every pic....

sure...but look at the pics with the white lows and blue fogs...the experts tell me there both 6500k? theres no way in hell they should be diffrent colors like that!

I think there's a mis understanding...take a look at the pictures, in one set the lows & fogs are a rich blue color...the fogs are the same in all pictures the lows are two different sets of extreme hids...but xenon depot are telling me both sets of lows and the fogs are 6500k? I want the 6500 that are the white one in the photos...as they match my switchboard turn signals percfectally...again...they are telling me that both bulbs on the lows and the fogs are 6500k.?

take a pic of your lows and fogs tonight so i can see them. Turn them on and let both warm up for a minute or so and then take a pic. I see what your saying about the color.....but what im saying is they will not match perfect in two different type housings. The fogs look to me like they havent "warmed" up yet in the pics.

alright guys...im going to take one more stab at this.I purchased an xd xtreme 6500k low beam hid light kit (bulb marked ZOOG).At the same time I purchased an xd xtreme 6500k fog light kit (bulb marked ZOOB).I installed them and this is wht i get...

Ok...I contacted xenon depot and they sent me out a replacement xd xtreme 6500k (bulb marked ZOOB) low beam hid kit. Once I recieved the kit, I swapped them out. This is what they look like...

so to straighten out the discussion of how the light color may vary depending on a number of mentioned factors. I am anal, but not to that degree. Clearly in the photo above the lights match. Im good with that. The problem im having is that when I first placed my order I did ALOT of research on this specific product as well as how the (k) rating works and all that stuff. I stragecially (or so I thought) decided to go with Xenon Depot 6500k setup as others say they bought the same product because it matched their Autolumination 60/60 a/w stealth switchback turn signals. I have these as well...ok the first set of low beam hids matched them perfect...

Now wih the replacement kit they sent me it looks terrible! This is the bottom line the two diffrent low beam hid kit I got had two diffrent markings on the bulb 1st set -ZOOG 2nd set- ZOOB which matched the fog lights but not my switchbacks...So really what im trying to accomplish here on this thread is figuring out whats going on here. Maybe someone on here has the exact same kit I have ( hid xtreme 6500k lows / fogs) and maybe they can post some pictures and identify the marking on the bulb itself. Who has Autolumination 60/60 a/w switchback led turn signal bulbs and hids? If so what brand are your hids? Do they match? Can you post pictures...ect. ect. Thats all really. I am not an anal retentive freak who thinks two bulbs which are clearly marked with diffrent part numbers dont match exactly. Im not trying to hear some shananiganns about how its because the fog lights project the light diffrently than the headlights do...LOL, I get that.Have a look one more time... Notice how they match EXACT ,fogs and lows 6500k both bulbs marked "ZOOB" oh yeah...I have k2 smoked fog light housings...

Hope this helps straighten out what im after.

ill post night photos of each set up as well...

here are some night photos...

xd xtreme 6500k hid- bulb marked ZOOG

xd xtreme 6500k hid- bulb marked ZOOB

These are absolutley not the same (k) rating as eachother...And its certainly not because of the camera angle or any other factor other than they are simply not the same. Maybe this helps to understand why im stumped...

I did. well at least his secretary said he is willing to sell me some at a discounted price. He said he would get with steve and talk with him. This was a month ago and I have yet to hear back from either of them. Here is the reply I recieved via email prior to calling them:

Hi Jason,

I think the bulbs marked “ZOOG” were from our previous inventory which could explain the slight difference in color as well. I just checked and we do not have any more of those unfortunately.

6500k will definitely give you a blue tone. If you really want to match your switchback parking lights you could go with something like 4300k for a pure white or 5000k for a hint of blue. Keep in mind that it will likely not be an exact match in the end.

I spoke with Steve over at Xenon Depot this morning and he is going to get me all fixed up. To my understanding I will be recieving some 6000k replacement bulbs. Upon delivery i will be swapping them out asap. Pictures to follow...Now for the good stuff, I have alot of buddies running various brands of hids and everyone of them have been amazed at how much better my xenon depot hids are compared to theirs. I had a slight mix up with the colors I recieved but after a few calls into them they made it right. As ive stated in other posts i also have the full putco interior led conversion purchased from XD as well. All said and done these guys are the way to go hands down. Great product and even better customer service!
