lol, trust me I wish, When I said I did a good install, I meant it ha, removing the ballast would take me along time, there is alot of wires I would have to unziptie, and remove. It would take alot of time just removing things I did that cleaned up the wires.

Just for shits and giggles, I would try removing the relay on the fogs to see what happens. It's known that some WK's need it for the fogs and some don't. I have a '05 as well and don't need a relay for the fogs.
Lol I'll do that only if I need to remove the ballast!

Re: XenonDepot Help!

Well tonight you said that you switched the bulbs around, and they both worked after you did that?

So obviously the ballast is still working, and both bulbs are fine because they both ignite.

If it still messes up, I think it might have something to do with the relay. How long have you had the kit installed?

I did switch the bulbs, they worked last night, this morning I checked, lightbulb didnt work on the side the ballast was broken on, so I switched ballasts, sure enough the other side went out, I'm 100% its the ballast.

I know the bulbs work fine, Im sure on that, the ballast I believe is on its slow slow death, gunna get it replaced.

If it still doesnt work with the new ballast, I'll swap my dads brand new relay in, then we'll see what happens.

Re: XenonDepot Help!

Sounds good, seems like you've found a solid answer to your problem. Sure hope a new ballast will fix it!

Re: XenonDepot Help!

Did you silicone and paint your grounds? Timmy told me to do it and it totally seals up the grounds...and with the weather you are getting it sounds like it would be a great idea for you! I have pics under my install thread so you can see what I did, its super simple

Re: XenonDepot Help!

Alright, so for the past 2 weeks the fog light hasn't been working, positive it was the ballast. Put the new ballast in and were good to go. Thanks steve

Re: XenonDepot Help!

****KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

ok so the light isn't working again...

heres my situation...

Ive checked the bulb on both sides, bulb works perfect
Ive checked and replaced the ballast, ballast is good now.
Ive checked my grounds, grounds are all good.
Ive replaced my ground terminals, they are good.

The thing is, everytime my light doesnt work, I go under the truck, unplug the bulb, plug the bulb back in, and the light turns on...Ive tried fixing the connection, taping it tighter together. Still doesn't work.

Only things I can think of, is the connection between the bulb and ballast connectors is messed, or the relay harness is pooched,

What should I do...Matt? Brad? Any input buddy?
