Xenondepot HID Fog Question

Hey guys, I just received my HID Xtreme Digital kit for the fogs and finished the install. I just had one question about the bulbs. I know the two round plugs connect to the balast, but what are the other two plugs for? They work fine without being connected to anything. The rubber boot does not seal over the base of the bulb because of this plug. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Xenondepot HID Fog Question

one connector is not needed. there's a bracket for that clip somewhere near the fog light.

Re: Xenondepot HID Fog Question

Thanks for the info. Were you able to get the rubber boot over the base of the bulb?

Re: Xenondepot HID Fog Question

I installed the 2 relays it came with. These 2 wires pass through the rubber boot with a plug on each end. They don't seem to do anything or connect anywhere that I can see.

Re: Xenondepot HID Fog Question

o, mine worked without a relay, reverse polarity. just flip the connectors around to see if they turn on without the relay. not too sure with the relay tho, hopefully some1 with it will have the answer.

Re: Xenondepot HID Fog Question

I plugged the bulb plug and relay into the balast. Is that wrong? They work fine and turn on with the switch.

Re: Xenondepot HID Fog Question

I have the exact same kit on my fogs and there no unused plugs. Can you take a pic of the install?

I'm not home right now but I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

Re: Xenondepot HID Fog Question

Ok cool. Do you have the relays installed too? Did you connect the oem bulb plug to the hid bulb plug or the plug coming out of the balast? Were you able to put the rubber boot over the base of the hid plug?
