Hi Matt,
Sorry I missed this thread.

The ballast are indeed waterproof, and do not heat up. No need to put a bag around them, as most said in this thread, pick a good spot to mount, and enjoy!!

I forget what the 05-07 looks like...but on top of the lamp you will see a white plastic screw head....use a phillips screwdriver and turn that screw left------right to adjust the lamp output direction.....youll want to go down.... a little. Pull up to a garage door or wall and youll be able to see the beam to adjust it
